The Reconquista was a war waged by the Spanish against the Muslims and Jews. During this time, anyone in Europe who was not Roman Catholic was frowned upon. Because of the strict beliefs, any non-believers were punished immensely. The Reconquista was a brutal mission caused by xenophobic ideas and actions. It lead to the fall of the Muslims in Europe, and the reclaim of land by the Spanish.
