In Depth~~ Exercise Regulation

The Tiranha endures a lot of physical activity, usually hunting. When the Tiranha is chasing its prey, the Tiranha's cell activity is increased, producing more carbonic acid in the blood. To get rid of this acid buildup, the Tiranha starts to breath at a more rapid pace in order to get rid of the carbon dioxide by it diffusing out of the bloodstream, into the aveoli, then exhaled going first through the lungs, then trachea. To meet the cell's demand for more oxygen, the increased breathing means a more rapid intake of oxygen through the lungs, which then diffuses into the bloodstream through the alveoli walls, finally reaching the cells after being carried in the bloodstream.
