What Happened to Rommel?
At first, Rommel was a very big fan of Hitler, but as war continued on and he discovered slave labor, death camps, and the extermination of the Jews, Rommel began to turn away from Hitler. After being bombed by the British, Rommel suffered great injuries. Coincidently, days later Hitler was struck by a bomb in a failed assassination attempt. Hitler accused Rommel of being responsible, and forced him to drink cyanide or else his family would be killed. Hitler blamed his death on his injuries sufferd from the bomb.
