How Did Rommel Rise?

Erwin Rommel was able to rise in the Nazi party due to his personal relationship with Adolf Hitler, his great tactical skill on the battlefield, and he was "a chef of desert warfare". Some of his medals included were Knights Cross of the Iron Cross, Oakleaves, Swords, Diamonds, and many more.
