Agricultural production and trade: They depended significantly on trade. Although they depended on trade for materials and food, they did grow barley.
Labor system: Brahmins were in charge of religious duties, Kshatriyas fought in battles, Vaishyas were merchants, artisans, etc, everyone else in the lowest class was instructed by a master on what to do.
Religion: They worshipped the Mother Goddess, and hinted early signs of Hinduism. It is hard to tie just one religion with the people. Other religions that were followed besides Hinduism were Buddhism and Jainism.
Writing: Created Indus Script. This writing is still unknown, and uncalled of being understood. Earliest signs of Indus script was on pottery.
Technological advancement: Were credited with being the first to develop a system of weights and measurements.
Two major cities were Babylon and Mohenjo- Daro. Babylon is located between the Tigris and Euphrates River.
