Agricultural production & trade: The two major rivers were key to production and trade. Has good soil and climate. Vegetables are things they grew and fish are things they traded.
Religion: They believed in a god. They believed that the temples they had built connected heaven to earth. Temples were where many of their religious events were held. Gods were called "dingir" and told to have supernatural powers.
Technological advancement: Many advancements, they made included: irrigation systems, calendars, and first wheeled vehicles.
Writing: As one of their technological advancements they contributed to the writing and number system. The Sumerian people created written documents by using a triangular-tipped stylus to make wedge-shaped impressions in sift clay. They believe this to be a great accomplishment.
Labor system: Slaves worked for the wealthy. Ziggurats built temples. Priests were in charge of people and believed to be in charge of people in order to keep the gods happy. They also took on the job of being doctors. Everyone else on the lower class worked in the fields.
Two major cities were Babylon and Ebla.
