The Williams Company is located at 112 East Commonwealth Avenue. It was built and designed by Oliver S. Compton in 1927. This building has three stories. The first floor was designed to be a store. But then it became a membership for the Odd Fellows. The second floor of the building was reserved to be lodge member space. Here, the workers could eat lunch, do work, and have meetings. The third floor was for local fraternal and patriotic organizations. There was a ground floor, too. One of the first tenants in that floor was the United States Post Office. But today, the Post Office isn't there. Up to today, all of the stories except the ground floor and third floor have changed. The first floor is a restaurant and the second is a dance academy.
