Fox Theater is located on 510 N. Harbor Boulevard. It was constructed by C. Stanley Chapman (the son of Charles C. Chapman). It used to be the Alician Court Theatre. It showed silent movies in a vaudeville house and on either side of it was a café. It was designed by theater architects, Meyer and Holler Incorporated. Inside, you can find many Italian decorations. The facility was named Alician Court Theatre in honor of Alice, C. S. Chapman's wife. But as the ownership started to change, the name of the place changed, too. It was soon called Fox Theater and that has been it's name ever since until in 1987 it closed. Today, you may find that people are trying to fix and rebuild the theater so it can be a joy again.
