Hillcrest Park is located at 1200 N. Harbor Road. Hillcrest Park has been an important part of Fullerton since they Fullerton bought it in the 1920's for $67,300 and was 37 acres. Then came the depression years. It was the early 1930's. Nobody had any money to build houses or buy food. Hillcrest Park closed up, made it bigger and more beautiful, and allowed poor families to camp there. The people that re-built Hillcrest Park were men who could not find jobs. When you go to Hillcrest today, you will find there are many proms and weddings held there. You can also find kids playing sports there such as football.
