impulse control disorders
Impulse control disorder is defined as failure to resist a temptation, urge, or impulse that may harm oneself or others. During their failure, the person feels pleasure, gratification, or relief, but after a person may blame oneself or feel guilt or regret.
examples
There are many disorders within impulse control disorder which include: Pathological gambling, compulsive buying disorder, pyromania, kleptomania, intermittent explosive disorder, dermatillomania, and trichotillomania.
co-occurring disorders
Some other disorders co-occur with ICD's such as bipolar disorder, generalized anxiety, OOCD, PTSD, depression, and anti-social personality.
