- In sections 1-4, but a one-length horizontal perimeter. Only cut the horizontal perimeter in sections 5 and 6 if it reaches the guide.

- Create safety section

- Make guide ¼” on either side of part. Cut guide horizontally in front of the ear-to-ear parting. Continue guide into the back.

- Cut backward flowing angle. Hold hair straight up.

- Starting in the center back, create 1” pie shapings. Hold hair straight up and cut backward flowing angle

- Continue to the right using a moving guide. Then back to center and to the left.

- Always leave an inch minimum at the perimeter.

- Slide cut to combine into rest of hair if necessary.
