- Shampoo hair with detoxifying shampoo

- Make ear to ear parting

- Clip front hair into two sections

- Make the first blocking at the crown while holding hair at 45degrees

- Put the next two rods under the first with the gap centered on the rod above. Continue this pattern working down.

- In the front, make first blocking at the hairline and work back to the crown. Place two rods behind the first. Continue pattern.

- Place rods on the front sides vertically and wrap towards the back of the head.

- Place two picks for every two rods if possible.

- Continue the perm as normal.
