Bantu/Zulu Knots
o Twist hair until it buckles into a knot. Secure with elastic. Small subsections = more kinky.
Single strand/Comb twist:
o Hold hair in comb and twist. Secure using gel.
Single strand/flat twist:
o Create subsection. Twist hair at beginning of section and gradually add more hair as you move. Secure with elastics.
Double strand twist:
o Take two pieces of hair and wrap on around the other. Secure with elastic.
Double strand flat twist:
o Take two pieces of hair and begin to wrap one around the other. Add additional hair to strand 1, then add hair to strand 2. Repeat. Gradually add more hair to the section as you move. Secure with elastic.
Triple strand braid (standard braid)
o Create three sections of hair. Take the section on the outer right and move it between the center and left section. Next take the section on the outer left and move it between the center and right section. Continue intertwining hair from right to center, left to center, etc. Secure with elastics.

Triple Strand Cornrow (French braid)
o Create three sections of hair. Take the section on the outer right and move it under so it is between the center and left sections. Next, take the section on the outer left and move it under so it is between the center and right sections. Gradually add move hair to the sections as you move. Continue intertwining hair underneath from right to center, left to center, etc. Secure with elastic.
