Pennsylvania State University is a public-coed institution with no religious affiliation. The main facility is the Phyaical Plant that is in charge of the construction of other facilities.

The Office of Physical Plant (OPP) is the administrative organization of the Pennsylvania State University, which is responsible for the stewardship of the University's physical assets. OPP cares for the daily operations and maintenance of over 700 buildings and the infrastructure on the University Park campus, as well as administering real estate and overseeing the planning, design, and construction of capital facilities for the entire University and the Commonwealth Campus system. There are currently 1,642 buildings throughout the Penn State system. The OPP administers financial services, designs construction and facilitie resources.
