Pro-Slavery Arguments

Those who defended slavery included had much to say when they were put up against abolitionists. They believed a serious economic downfall would be created if slavery was to be stopped so suddenly as planned. Most economy's foundation was based upon slavery and depended on it very much. Cotton and tobacco economies would drop severly. Defenders of slavery made many valuable points to help their case relating to religious and economical reasons.
