5.) Many factors were monitored along the experiment such as ammonia, pH, nitrite, nitrate, temperature, alkalinity, chlorine and hardness.
6.) When the fish became button-up, they were fed the food provided by the DNR.
7.) Aquarium salts were added during the water changes in mid-January.
8.) As the fish size increased, pellet food was used to feed them.
9.) The fish will soon be released into the wild once grown into full size.
