#7 Love Don't Die
The song “Love Don’t Die” by The Fray, track #7 corresponds with “Romeo and Juliet” because in the song it talks about how love can never die and in the book it doesn’t. In the song, The Fray sings “A thousand years go by. But love don't die” saying no matter how many years go by love won’t ever die. In the book (act:2.2) “I’d rather they killed me than have to live without love” clarifying that Romeo loves her so much he would die for her. The song lyrics for “Love Don’t Die” say “No matter where we go. Or even if we don't. And even if they try. They'll never take my body from your side” which is basically saying he won’t leave her side no matter what. Another quote from the book is (act:5.3) “I don’t like that idea, so I’ll stay here with you. And I will never leave this tomb”. Even when Juliet died he is still gonna remain by her side, that’s how powerful their love was.
