The Path To Treatment

The Path To Treatment began with the earliest stage of transportation, Stretcher Bearers. The stretcher bearers consisted of many men carrying the injured body to the doctors and nurses at the Regimental Aid Post. The Regimental Aid Post was a set-up hospital near the battle front, which was used by doctors and nurses to cure and take care of the injured patient. The motor hospital was equipped with medical gear and was the vehicle was used to transport patients to the casualty clearing station. Another form of medical transportation is the hospital train, which transported soldiers to the hospital. At the hospital, soldiers would lay down on hospital beds, used to help care for each and every injured soldier.
