After High School

The Zionist Youth Movement: Towards the end of high school, Hannah decided to join a Zionist youth movement. This group was planning on immigrating to Palestine, so after graduating in 1939, Hannah left home. Upon reaching Palestine, Hannah started attending an agriculture school in Nahalal, where she took classes for two years.

Sedot Yam Kibbutz: After graduating from school, Hannah joined a Kibbutz, which is an agricultural community where everyone shares their wealth. Her jobs here were cooking and doing laundry.
