Sojourner Truth

Sojourner Truth traveled across the nation and encouraged everyone to favor abolition and women's rights. She was a major leader in the abolition movement, especially for women. She paved the way for women to express their thoughts freely about abolition, which was completely unusual for its time.

Many women supported other reforms, such as education and women's rights. However, women supported abolition least out of all of the reforms, except for Isabella Baumfree, or Sojourner Truth.
