Analysis:

-organic shapes such as the dog and girl

-the blues portray value (light and dark)

-positive space: girl and dog paddling boarding

-negative space: water and sky (blue background)

-movement: not much but viewers eye is drawn straight to the center where the girl and dog are painted

-emphasis on the organic shapes

-contrast of the water lighter on the edges and darker towards the center of the painting

-proportion of the the girl to the dog

Interpretation: 

The painting expresses the active loving relationship between the dog and the girl as they paddle board. Mainly primary colors that are used such as reds, yellows, and blues.

Judgement:

I thought this piece was not as great as the others that I have found, because it didn't draw my attention to it as much as the others did. Maybe if the negative space had been added with more detail or some type of positive space to draw viewers eyes towards the center.
