Harriet Tubman was born a slave but using the Underground Railroad she was able to escape. After she did she went back selflessly 19 times to help others get to the North which was really risky because she had a bounty on her head. Harriet Tubman became an extremely famous conductor. Harriet Tubman also worked alongside Susan B Anthony for women suffrage. She also worked as a cook, nurse and spy for the Union Army. She helped over 300 slaves and never lost a single one.
