Quakers were a large part of the Underground railroad. In Pennsylvania alone there were 82 active Quakers trying to help the slaves escape. The Quakers believed that slavery wasn't ethic but some refused to break the law and tried to abolish slavery legally. Quakers housed slaves and drove them to their next "station". Without the Quakers I doubt the Underground Railroad would be as successful.
