start: in first pos. at the back of the head

create a vertical part from hairline to nape following your guests natural part

create 1" diagonal subsections from center part to sides of nape

cutting the back: start at the left side,

holding the hair with the palm to palm position (palms facing the ground)

cut with your fingers up, shears down

standing in the cross over 1 position

(nom dominant leg bent and across body, dominant leg back and extended)

take 1/2" subsections while moving up the head, alternating sides

to cut the right side, stand in the cross over 2 position

(nom dominant leg across body, standing diagonal with dominant leg extended, feet at 12 and 3 o'clock)

elevate hair to meet previously cut section

by adding two fingers instead of one under the subsection you're cutting

cutting the sides:

stand in first position behind head

take 1" horizontal subsections from center back (crown) to hairline

cut palm to palm, (fingers up, shears down)

elevate hair to guide

increase over direction and decrease elevation as you near hairline

cutting front/top:

take 1" subsections from vertical center part, to front hairline

(alternate sides until you reach middle part)
