-start in first position behind guest

-make section from hairline to crown (following natural part)

-make 1" diamond section at crown (for colic)

-create section from bottom of diamond to nape

-make 1" diagonal, horizontal subsections from center part to each side of the nape

-divide subsection in half

*use secondary cutting position*

*hold the hair with the wide teeth of the comb*

-cut guideline for side one, starting at the inside and cutting to the left

-cut guideline for side two, starting at the outside cutting in to the left

-continue making 1" diagonal subsections on each side until you reach the occipital bone

-make a 1 1/2" subsection above each ear to act as a strong guide

-create final 1" subsections from center
