Triangular Graduation

-start in first position behind guest

-create vertical side parting from above the eye, (slightly diagonal) to the crown

-then continue the section to the center of nape

-create diagonal subsections from center section to nape

*using the palm to palm hand position*

*using the primary shear position*

-hair is elevated one finger width

-using fine teeth of comb to increase tension

-use cross over one position to cut side 1 (left)

-use cross over two to cut side 2 (right)

-take two additional 1/2" diagonal subsections to cut the back

-hair is elevated two fingers width

-each new subsection is elevated to guide

-cut mirroring previous subsection angle

-at the mastoid process, the head gets wider, so hair is over directed slightly to match the guide

-cross check by making diagonal subsections in the opposite direction of the initial subsection on the back of the head
