NEW WORLD TO OLD WOLRD
- tobacco, tomatoes, potatoes, corn, squash, beans, peanuts, pineapple and chocolate
- old world learned Indian technology ( Canoes, snowshoes moccasins)
OLD WORLD TO NEW WORLD
- cattle, pigs, sheep horses, wheat, sugar cane, peaches, bananas and coffee
- Diseases were passes killing many natives as they weren't immune (some diseases included small pox, measles, influenza and scarlet fever)
The Columbian Exchange was the exchange of goods, ideas, and disease from the new world (the Americas) to the old world ( primarily Europe but also Africa and Asia)
