— The Middle Colonies included: Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, and New Jersey
— Their geography was a mix of the New England Colonies and the southern Colonies– soil that was fine for farming but not great
— The region was not dominated by one religion so it soon became a religiously free territory
— They produced some crops but were mainly known for their manufacturing of goods such as Iron, lumber, textiles and fur
