METROPOLIS- TECHNOLOGY

-Symbolises the sacrifices that man must make in order for advancements in technology.

- Machine has been created by the upper class, demonstrates the nature of the control of the upper class, being able to sacrifice the workers in order to make another revolution of the machine wheel for their own benefit.

-Technology is seen as something that must be fueled by human efforts, hence becoming almost independent of their creators, and instead of being seen as a creation, become seen as yet another ‘worker’ for the upper class.
