Leadership Team

There is nothing we enjoy more than spending time in classrooms! With 37 non-tenured teachers at Paly, our team has been busy completing the first round of formal teacher evaluations, which includes countless walk-throughs, in time for the negotiated November 1st deadline. We are so impressed and pleased with the energy, creativity and care for students that all of the teachers new to Paly bring to their classrooms everyday. Your students are in great hands!

Professional Learning update - Teachers are continuing their hard work moving toward common essential questions, student learning objectives and student learning targets in their professional learning community (PLC) groups. These are key components in meeting our WASC and District alignment goals to make sure that all students are working toward the same learning outcomes in a particular course.

On November 30, the Tech Team held a parent night discussing the Future Ready Program at Paly. The event was to inform people of the chromebook rollout for the 10th and 11th grade students. We are excited to have a new-student friendly tech expectations document as we grow the Future Ready Program. We have also added device charging stations in the library for all students to use for their learning devices.
