- Mr. Arne Lim is now the Instructional Supervisor.

- This Fall, the Math Department welcomed 4 teachers new to Paly.

- All four sections of Algebra 1 are being co-taught; this means two credentialed teachers are sharing the planning, organization, delivery, and assessment of instruction, as well as the physical space.

- Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 / Trig A are piloting Standard-Based Grading.

- The department is busy developing new courses. Stay tuned!

- We are beginning the process of adopting a new Pre-Calculus textbook. The date at which we will begin our review has yet to be determined; however, we will need two parents to join our committee. If interested, please contact Mr. Lim at alim@pausd.org and please explain why you would like to be on the committee and if you have any special skills that would help us with this process.
