Mesopotamians invented the wheel, plow, saw, and chisel.  These led to the invention of other revolutionary techniques.  For example the wheel led to chariots, wagons, and wheelbarrow.  Another example is the when the plow led to more advanced agriculture and irrigation.  One more example is the saw led to footing food and chopping wood.
