The Black Panther Party - 1966

In Forrest Gump the Black Panther Party was portrayed well. In the movie, the panther guy explained how they practiced militant self defense of minority communities against the U.S. Government and fought to establish revolutionary socialism through mass organizing and community based programs. The party was created by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale in Oakland, California for selfdefense.
