The Vietnam War - 1955~1975

The Vietnam war was a long and costly war against south Vietnam. It was a very unpopular war in the U.S. And ended with the withdrawal of the U.S. forces in 1973. More than 3 million people were killed 58,000 being Americans. In Forrest Gump, they defiantly portrayed this war well. They captured many of the elements from the weather to how the platoons would over take some of the areas just to go swimming or surfing.
