All Pokemon games have rivals, either boys or girls. In the beginning of each Pokemon game, you are soon introduced to your rival. In most games you get to make their name, but yet in Pokemon black and white and in Pokemon x and y you don't have that option. Also in those two versions, you have more than just one rival. In black and white, you have two rivals when in x and y you have four. Sometimes in Pokemon games your rival is really nice to where they're your best friend but other times your rival is just plain out rude and competitive.
