Deserts are areas that receive less than 25 cm of rainfall per year.

Large parts of North Africa , Eastern Asia , central Australia , southwestern North America are deserts.

Even in hot deserts the temperature fall at night to atleast 54 degree Fahrenheit .

Desert vegetation is often sparse & consist mainly of plants that have adapted a dry climate.
