TUNDRA

The Tundra is a large biome that is largely treeless and extremely cold.

It stretches out over North America , Europe & Asia.

Permafrost a permanently frozen layer of soil under the surface , characterizes the Tundra.

The tundra gets very little precipitation and has very short growing seasons as long two months. Leaving it to have small plants such as grasses , sedges , and mosses are the most common.
