The airborne interception radar was developed in Bawdsey Manor, in England. Bawdsey Manor also was the first Chain Home station and was used by the Royal Air Force, for general radar devolopment. Bawdsey Manor was also used by Robert Watson-Watt when he was creating the original radar system for the Royal Air Force.
