Across the Disciplines

I can connect this subject to science. We were learning about how the Ancient Egyptians preserved their mummies. This is very much like science, because the Ancient Egyptians used their knowledge of biology and chemistry. This was required, because, for instance, they needed to know what would preserve bodies and how the body worked so that it rotted after its death, and how to prevent that.

Systems

Learning about the systems and cultures of ancient Egyptians is very interesting. The reading why they used salt, was to make the deceased look alive. This is very interesting, and how they are very serious about their religion and systems. You can also see that they have strong traditions to follow.
