1. Peel the potato with the vegetable peeler with one of the paper towels underneath to catch the peelings

2. Cut the potato into a shape that somewhat looks like a person with the butter knife with the second paper towel under 

3. Weigh the potato person on the food scale

4. Make observations and take notes in your notebook

5. Place the potato person into the rectangular styrofoam box and pour salt into it so that the potato man is completely submerged 

6. Wait for one week

7. Uncover the potato man and throw away salt that was used

8. Weigh the mummy

9. Take notes on your observations 

10. Cover the man again with salt and wait for a week

11. Uncover the potato man and take observations
