Hippopotamuses are usually viewed as dumb, cute, and adorable. What people don’t know is that they are actually really vicious and aggressive animals that kill more people than lions. Many scientist view them as the most dangerous animal in Africa. Hippopotamuses attack boats and turn them upside down and are believed to possess spiritual powers. Luckily,they no longer live in Egypt, but call East Central Africa and Subsaharan home.
