Humphry Davy

Scientist

Humphry Davy was a scientist born on December 17, 1778 in the UK. Davy is most famous for the discoveries of the elements: potassium, sodium, chlorine, and many other elements. Humphry Davy also established electrochemistry and invented the miner's safety lamp. Davy died on May 29, 1829 in Switzerland.
