Caspar David friedrich
Caspar David Friedrich was a Romanticism Artist born on September 5, 1774 in Germany. Friedrich painted many landscapes showing nature through melancholy mods, pantheistic beliefs, and nationalistic feelings. Later in life, Friedrich went to an art academy in Copenhagen and found patrons among the nobility and received the prize of Weimar Friends of Art. Caspar David Friedrich died on May 7, 1840 in Germany. One of Caspar David Friedrichs' works is the "Chalk Cliffs on Rügen."
