Michael becomes acquainted in football his freshmen year of high school. When he was accepted to Briarcrest he was told he had to bring his grades up before he could play with the help of his tutor he did. After his first season of high school football everyone knew Michael was going to be a star. Michael, unlike so many other kids that came from damaged homes, was not mean on the field necessarily. He was known for playing fair and not being brutal like Lawrence Taylor. After high school Michael went on to play college football at university of Mississippi. Michael was recruited to many other schools including Tennessee, University of Kentucky, and many others. After 4 years at Ole Miss Michael was drafted into the Baltimore ravens in the first round and was the 23rd pick.
