Investigator Granger

When Michael excepts Ole Miss as the school he will be attending in the fall the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) becomes suspicious. Investigator Granger comes to Michael as a representative of the NCAA to investigate his predicament. Investigator Granger tells Michael that the NCAA suspects the Touhy family adopted Michael for the purpose of him playing at their favorite school, thus making their team better. Although they could never prove this the NCAA could not find any broken rules in Ole Miss, but they never really dropped the case throughout Michaels college career.
