Evolution

Throughout the book we see Michaels life change. At the beginning of The Blind Side Michael is broken. He won't talk to anyone he doesn't go to class and he's scared. Michael was born into a broken home. Michaels Mother was addicted to crack and alcohol, she had 13 children that all had no father and were put Into the foster system at young ages. When Michael is accepted to Briarcrest and is taken in by the Tuohy family they change his life. They give him love and support. They help him develop learning skills and start in athletics. The family supports Michael financially and emotionally. Michael effects their lives as much as they effect his.
