Categories of tornadoes

First and foremost, Tornadoes are classified by a scale ranging from F0 to F5.

F-0: These tornadoes are the weakest with 40-72 mph winds, and can cause light damage.

F-1: The tornadoes consist of 73-112mph winds, and cause moderate damage.

F-3: These tornadoes consist of 113-157mph winds and can cause considerable damage to mobile homes and things if the sort.

F-3: These tornadoes consist of 158-205mph and can cause severe damage, such as tearing up roofs and walls, or even flipping cars.

F-4: These tornadoes consist of 207-260mph wind and can cause devastating damage to well constructed buildings.

F-5: The worst of the worst, these tornadoes consist of 261-318mph winds and cause violent damage. These tornadoes have the power to pick up homes and throw cars long distances.
