Tornado season occurs at different times depending in what region of America you live in. For Texas and tornado alley though, this season typically occurs in late spring. Tornado season typically occurs because of the transitional period between Autumn and spring. This type of climate change results in a higher chance of warm and cool air meeting along with storms, causing tornadoes.
