The Women's Rights Movement
-The First Women's Rights Convention was held in Seneca Falls, New York and was led by Elizabeth Cady Stanton in 1848.
-At Seneca Falls, the Declaration of Sentiments was signed by both men and women at the meeting that outlined the grievances for women's rights.
-The National Women's Convention was held in Worcester, Massachusetts by Lucy Stone.
-Wyoming was the first state to allow women's suffrage.
A year later, women started sitting on juries in Wyoming.
-The National Women
