Cell Membrane
Definition CELL MEMBRANE:
- a phospholipid layer that covers the cell's surface; acts as a barrier between the inside of the cell and the cell's environment.
What it does:
The cell membrane separates the cells contents from its environment around it. The cell membrane controls the materials that go in the cell and out of the cell. Inside the cell there is fluid. The fluid along with the rest of its identity are called cytoplasm.
